Best Wireless Earbuds 2020 Review

(Last Updated On: March 27, 2020)

Wireless earbuds are evaluated on the basis of multiple aspects. Audio quality takes the lead in these aspects accompanied by a good battery life and also the comfort of the earbud fitting inside the ear. There is another aspect that determines the standard and choice of a client when it comes to wireless earbuds and that is noise cancellation. Some clients like to listen to music etc. without any background noise disturbing them whereas some want to be aware of what is happening around them.

13. Echo Buds – Wireless Earbuds by Amazon

Echo buds wireless earbuds by Amazon review

Do not be tricked by the simple plastic hood of these earbuds as amazon has packed a unique set of tricks in there. The Echo Buds have been found to be in the best integration with Alexa and minimize the ambient sounds by using Bose’s proprietary technology for noise reduction. The noise reduction quality has been outdone by ANC premium headphones but the Echo Buds still have a reputation because of the price it comes at.

Alexa can be asked to perform multiple tasks thanks to Amazon for programming the buds in a particular way to interact with Alexa. You can activate Alexa both manually and through a simple voice command as well. Wishing to have more commands in these tiny buds would be a little uncool because the earbuds already have a lot of commands at your vocal cords’ tips one might say.

This product weighs around 0.3 ounces and has a battery life of 5 rated hours and around 20 hours with the charging case. With a size of 0.9 x 0.9 x 0.9 inches, it has a Bluetooth range of 12.2 meters (40 feet).

CONS:
  • More smart gestures needed
  • Can feel uncomfortable after wearing for a while

MORE WIRELESS EARBUDS FROM OUR PREVIOUS LIST

1. Jaybird Vista Wireless Earbud

The best wireless earbud reviews

The company Jaybird is considered to be a professional in the market as they have come up with quality earphones consistently over the years. Their X series is widely popular and is labelled as one of the best. Unfortunately the good quality comes with price, but their useful features tend to make it worth the buy.

Now let’s get back to their latest manufacturer, Jaybird X3. The famous X series, is now in its third version and guarantees a remarkable sweat proof design along with competent upgrades.

If taken a look at difference between the X3 and X2, X2 was slightly larger than X3. The inline of the microphone is modified design wise, and the device is now incorporated with a new battery to improve battery life.

The change in ownership of Jaybird has led to some variations in 6mm drivers. The sound is much better in the X3, and performance wise Jaybirds X3 has emerged to be the best sounding ear bud which gone under the knife of our testing. If you enjoy a much fuller sound, then these are not the earphones for you.

The noise cancellation is also pretty satisfactory. This might be a security risk for runners as they are able to block a sufficient amount of noise coming from the outside. Another advantage is that this wireless earphone also has a good carrying pouch.

All in all, X3 are good wireless earphones which are the best option for you if you want to listen while exercising. They sound terrific and can be carried easily. The only disadvantage is they need to be a bit more comfortable.

PROS:
  • Good noise isolation
  • Longer battery life
  • Extra pouch for the earphone
  • Small size but great sound
  • Compacted design.

CONS:
  • May be uncomfortable for some.

2. SENSO Bluetooth Headphones

Best wireless bluetooth headphone, earphones earbuds

Let’s move on from expensive headphones and take a look at this affordable SENSO Bluetooth Headphones. Even though it’s not as pricey, but the design of the earphone snuggles perfectly inside the ear. The earphone doesn’t look too gaudy, and has a simple color scheme of red and black. It’s safe to say that they were aiming for a minimalist look.

The earphone also has a carrying case, along with that they also include ear tip of three sizes. The fit can be made easier by the help of flexible ear clips present on both sides. The best part? A tiny car charger is also given to charge wireless earphones.

The most evident problem in affordable earphones is there is compromise on the quality of sound and performance. However, SENSO earphones have good sound quality, but it obviously can’t be matched with the sound of expensive earphones.

This earphone is also quite suitable for vigorous workout, because it has IPX7 rating. Major problems couldn’t be identified while testing; however the size of the earphones is a bit big. So it can be concluded that SENSO has done a good job in producing earphones which are Hi-Fi capable, IPx7 rated, has outstanding noise cancellation, good sound quality, and are comfortable to use.

PROS:
  • Good noise cancellation
  • Has numerous accessories
  • Good value for money
  • Comfortable to wear
  • IPX7 rated and Hi-Fi audio files are also supported.

CONS:
  • The size of the earphones is a bit large.

3. Bose SoundSport Wireless Earphone

Bose soundsport wireless earbud review

Bose, a company known to revolutionize sound, I know, big words, but they are actually accredited rightfully for manufacturing top-notch earphones till this date.

The earphone which will be discussed in this article is the Bose SoundSport wireless, which is great at active noise cancellation. The name explains it all, these earphones are the best for listening to music while exercising. The earphones are pricey, as you’re also paying for the brand name.

These wireless air buds come in aqua or black color only. The performance is exceptional, sound has quality and no wavering in performance is observed as such. They are comfortable to wear, and doesn’t bother you even if you have plugged in for quite some time. These ear buds can also be utilized to make calls.

The battery can last up to 6 hours but it also depends on how loud you play the music. These ear buds do pretty well for themselves, but the only disadvantages seen are the ear-tips which slightly protrude out the ears, though this is not a major issue, but it certainly looks a bit bizarre wearing it. If you don’t see that as a problem, then these earphones are absolutely perfect for you.

PROS:
  • Good battery life
  • Impressive design
  • Turns off self to save battery
  • Sound is amazing
  • Comfortable to wear

CONS:
  • Ear buds look a bit odd wearing
